Setting a memorable date is an important task for any couple getting married and for Ben and Katie the day chosen was the eighth day of the eighth month. A glorious sunny Saturday in Yorkshire and the beautiful venue at historic Hazlewood Castle in which to be wed. The whole day was planned out carefully, but as life is apt to change those plans of mice and men, the groom was a wee bit late as one of the groomsmen fell ill giving proceedings a slightly nervous beginning! But then as the parties started arriving and settling into the characterful castle things calmed down and everyone seemed to enjoy a lovely relaxed day progressing from ceremony to blessing, from breakfast to dancing and all the laughter and joy in between at this gathering to celebrate the love of Katie and Ben.
