A late afternoon stroll in Peak District

After our adventures in China, this was our first little outing to the Peak District near Burbage edge for a late afternoon stroll, a cone or two of ice-cream and a few pictures. After the slightly stormy weather earlier in August, this was a much welcome return of summer sunshine to the purple heather-filled moors, complete with some midges! We wandered amongst the rustling grasses, sheep, and watched ‘boulderers’, climbers, hillwalkers and then enjoyed a fly past by a 1930s de Havilland Tiger Moth. Hope you like the selection of images below!

Images are available for sale in photographic or fine art print, presented in natural wood frame.  Please get in touch for more information.
