Scottish Landscape

A long weekend in Scotland

Last June my brother and his wife came across from Malaysia to enjoy a ‘flying’ honeymoon tour of Europe. The itinerary left only a few days to dash up to Scotland with a break in Glasgow on the way up and Edinburgh on the way down. The main destination was the Isle of Skye, famed for its wild, romantic scenery. It’s also where my husband’s Aunt and Uncle have recently established a new life, so a family trip all around.

Amongst Skye’s aliases is ‘the misty Isle’ and for this trip, that one applied. Apart from a lovely sunset over Loch Harport when we arrived, the rest of the visit was characterised by the west coast rain and mist. Not to be foiled in our attempt to capture some images, we ventured out and managed to point our lenses at the landscape and some of its inhabitants! Hope you enjoy a look…
