Maternity Portrait Session
Congratulations, you’re expecting a baby! It is best to capture the ‘pregnant glow’ when you’re between 28 and 35 weeks of your pregnancy. This is when we’re best able to capture that special moment with your beautiful baby bump in the perfect shape.
A pregnancy photo shoot can be taken in your choice of location or in the comfort of your home (20 miles of travel within Sheffield is included). If you prefer a home session, a space by the window where we could get natural light and a plain wall as a backdrop would be ideal. Your husband is welcome to join in if you wish. We would discuss and decide on the feel of the your pregnancy photography based on the styles you like when we meet.
Clothing choice
A good choice of clothing plays a major role in creating beautiful and timeless portraits. Therefore the clothing choice is recommended to be simple, solid or single coloured and tight-fitting to show off your baby bump. It is best to avoid distracting patterns, dots, stripes and branding as these can cause distraction in the image and usually date the photo more in years to come. Black and white tank tops work well as well as a pair of comfortable jeans!
Your investment
A maternity or pregnancy portrait session costs £120 and includes a 10″ x 8″ contemporary framed print. This covers the initial consultation, photographer’s time, creative input and the professional editing of each image. The session is very relaxed and lasts up to 60 minutes. Packages available.
